Are You a Vegan?

Vegans abstain from the use or ingestion of animal products and avoid using products that have been tested on animals. Animal products include meat, eggs, dairy products, fur, leather, wool, pearls, mother of pearl, and byproducts such as gelatin, lanolin, rennet, and whey. Individuals might become vegans to support animal rights, to enjoy health benefits, or for political and environmental reasons. Veganism has occasionally faced criticism over the years. Why?
