The Cannes Film Festival

This prestigious international film festival is held annually in Cannes, France. It receives a tremendous amount of media attention and draws celebrities from all over the world. The festival is run by the Association Française du Festival International du Film, created in 1946 with the support of the French ministries of culture and foreign affairs. The most prestigious award given at Cannes is the Palme d'Or (Golden Palm) for the best film. Can you name any of its recipients?
