No Mummies, But Other Treasures Found in Egyptian Tomb
Filed under: add to del.icio.us
When archaeologists opened the last of 8 sarcophagi in a recently discovered tomb, they didn't find any mummies, but instead uncovered valuable embalming materials and ancient woven flowers. Archaeologists had hoped the tomb, the first discovered in the Valley of the Kings since King Tut's in 1922, would hold the mummy of Tut's mother; the graves of the rest of Tut's family have already been found.
