Anne Hutchinson
Anne Hutchinson was an American colonist who was banished from Boston for her religious views. In her living room, she held discussions in which she emphasized faith rather than works as the means to salvation, held to predestination, and claimed she could identify the elect among the colonists. These activities caused Puritan leaders to view her as an antinomian heretic. What did Anne and her followers do after being banished?
