DEFINITION: (noun) A place or situation of noisy uproar and confusion. SYNONYMS: chaos, pandemonium, topsy-turvydom, topsy-turvyness. USAGE: They quarreled and bickered more than ever among themselves, till at times the camp was a howling bedlam.
