As lead singer of the British rock band the Rolling Stones, Jagger became one of rock music's biggest icons in the 1960s and 70s. Borrowing from earlier American blues artists, he helped redefine rock music and co-authored some of the genre's greatest anthems, including "Satisfaction," "Sympathy for the Devil," and "You Can't Always Get What You Want."
