Queen Elizabeth I of England
Queen Elizabeth, the last Tudor monarch of England, came to the throne during a turbulent period in English history. Although she has been described as vain, miserly, and fickle, she was nonetheless remarkably successful as queen. During her reign, England pursued a policy of expansionism in commerce and geographical exploration, and arts and literature flourished. The Elizabethan era saw the defeat of the Spanish Armada and the colonization of N America. Which US state is named after Elizabeth?Google, Inc. Founded

It is hardly surprising that women concentrate on the way they look instead of what is in their minds since not much has been put in their minds to begin with.Veni Vidi Vici
Veni, vidi, vici is a famous Latin phrase coined by Roman general Julius Caesar in 47 BCE; Caesar used the phrase as the full text of his message to the Roman senate describing his recent victory over Pharnaces II of Pontus in the Battle of Zela. The phrase translates to "I came, I saw, I conquered" and is today commonly used in business and popular culture. In the 1990s, for example, T-shirts were available with the line, "Veni, vidi, veggie: I came. I saw. I had a salad."
