Attack on US Embassy Foiled
Syrian security forces foiled an attempted terrorist attack on the US Embassy in Damascus, killing four gunmen who tried to storm the fortified building. Syrian sources said the gunmen apparently blew up a vehicle before launching their assault. No Americans were wounded in the attack, though a diplomat at the nearby Chinese Embassy was said to have been injured.mustachio
