Skunks are best known for the foul-smelling oily liquid they expel when frightened or in danger. The odor of skunk spray is strong enough to ward off bears and other potential attackers and can be difficult to remove from clothing. It is a common belief that tomato juice is an effective skunk-smell remover, but researchers claim the juice only masks the stench. Another formula, however, has proven effective in actually removing the odor. What is this formula?
