tirade

DEFINITION: (noun) A long angry or violent speech, usually of a censorious or denunciatory nature; a diatribe. SYNONYMS: philippic, broadside. USAGE: Milady had listened to all this menacing tirade with a smile of disdain on her lips, but rage in her heart.
