Campbell's is the most well-known producer of canned soups in the US and sells products in 120 other countries. In 1994, consumers purchased almost 2.5 billion cans of its soup, favoring the Chicken Noodle, Cream of Mushroom, and Tomato varieties. In the 1960s, the red-and-white soup can became fodder for Andy Warhol, the pop counter-culture artist, in his famous series of iconoclastic images.
