Fruit Flies Could Reveal Cure for Jet Lag

A geneticist the University of Pennsylvania noticed that the fruit flies in her lab slept normally when bathed in light for 24 hours a day but tossed and turned when shifted from one day/night cycle, or "time zone," to another. The flies lacked a protein that helps to regulate their body clocks and allows them to adapt to changes in the duration of light and darkness. If a similar protein operates in humans, it could be possible to banish jet lag altogether.

His career was tragically cut short when he died in a helicopter crash in 1990. What was Vaughan's “first wife”?

Eighteen US servicemen and between 1,000 and 1,500 Somalis died in the fighting. What 2001 Hollywood movie is based on the 1993 battle, and why did it anger many Somalis?
