A new study shows that almost all
decaffeinated coffee contains some
caffeine. The results could have implications for people told to avoid caffeine because of certain medical conditions such as
high blood pressure,
kidney disease or
anxiety disorders, according to the study. Researchers found that most of the decaf coffee they tested contained between 8.6 and 13.9 milligrams of caffeine. Typically, a 16 ounce cup of regular coffee contains about 170 milligrams.
