Scientists Uncover a Possible Biological Explanation for SIDS
Researchers have found a possible biological cause for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), the leading cause of death among infants aged one month to 12 months. Researchers found that SIDS babies have an abnormality that affects the brain stem's ability to regulate serotonin, which helps control vital reflexes like breathing. The findings offer hope that at-risk babies could be identified and treated before tragedy strikes.prodigal

Alekhine dominated the chess world between 1927 and 1935, losing only 7 of 238 tournament games. What scheme did Alekhine devise to secure his release?Ceiling of Sistine Chapel Completed
In 1508, Pope Julius II commissioned Michelangelo to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The work was completed in 1512 and features over 300 biblical figures and nine episodes from the Book of Genesis. Below these scenes are the statuesque figures of prophets and sibyls, with episodes from the Old Testament in the spandrels. The last great work Michelangelo executed in the chapel was The Last Judgment. Where in the chapel did he paint it?Reggae
Reggae is a form of Jamaican popular music that developed in the 1960s among Kingston's poor blacks. It draws on American "soul" music and traditional African and Jamaican folk music as well as ska, Jamaican, and British dance-hall music. Many of reggae's highly political songs proclaim the tenets of the Rastafarian religious movement. Instrumentation usually includes an ensemble of organ, piano, drums, and electric guitars, led by an electric bass played at high volume.
