Nguyen Khanh

General Nguyen Khanh was a major player in South Vietnamese politics after WWII. He first fought alongside the Viet Minh for the expulsion of French forces and later switched sides to ally with the US and help form a new government in South Vietnam. He was a leading proponent of spreading the war into North Vietnam to crush the Communist regime and unify the nation. He currently serves as Chief of State of the Government of Free Vietnam.
