Sugary Drinks Could Raise Cancer Risk
A new study suggests that drinking two sugary drinks a day almost doubles the risk of pancreatic cancer. Researchers from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden also found that the risk of developing pancreatic cancer was 70% higher for those who added sugar to their drinks at least 5 times a day. Pancreatic cancer is most common in people aged over 60. It is difficult to treat because it is often not diagnosed until it has spread beyond the pancreas.
