Two Libyans Indicted for Pan Am 103 Attack
Filed under: add to del.icio.us
The US and UK announced indictments against two Libyan intelligence officials in connection with the 1988 bombing of Pan American flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, which killed 270 people. During a trial held a decade later in the Netherlands, one of the defendants was found guilty, and Libya was forced to pay compensation to the victims' families. Whose presence on board the airplane has given rise to a number of conspiracy theories about the motivations behind the bombing?
