A new study that used MRI to examine spinal positioning found that sitting upright for hours at a time may lead to chronic back pain. Researchers found that, contrary to conventional wisdom, the best position for your back is somewhat reclined, sitting at a 135-degree angle rather than a 90-degree angle.
