Federico Fellini
Fellini was one of the most influential and widely revered Italian film-makers of the 20th century. His films typically combine memory, dreams, fantasy, and desire, and express a basically humanistic outlook. Filmed in color beginning with Juliet of the Spirits (1965), his movies became a celebration of life in all its beauties and grotesqueries while also exploring his wildly imaginative dream life. Four of his movies won Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film; which ones?
