Why Are Women More Vulnerable to MS?
Women with multiple sclerosis (MS) now appear to outnumber men with the disease by a ratio of 4 to 1 in the US. Experts says more research is needed to explore the changes that have occurred for women over the last few decades, such as the introduction of the 'Pill', earlier menstruation, and later age of first births.
