Miloševic was the leader of the Serbian Communist Party and the president of Serbia from 1989–1997 and of Yugoslavia from 1997–2000. A study of 10 children and 10 adults found that youngsters burn more body fat than adults relative to their total calorie expenditure. The study's authors say that the high levels of fat oxidization in prepubescent children may result from normal growth processes and recommend that about a third of the calories in a child's diet come from fat.
